So many of them I already lost,
promises of forever.
So many lines were ultimately crossed,
this is where we sever.
Too many times I said goodbye,
eternity rushed by fast.
Again i am watching the sky,
thinking of the past.
The meaning of broken words,
greedily consumed by trust.
Loneliness always hurts,
when bonds molder into dust.
Part of me knew it all along,
its used to be left behind.
Soon you too will be gone,
while my heart slowly turns blind.
Sometimes you have to go,
to stay here forever.
My place has lost its glow,
now I let the wind guide me like a feather.

This one is actually quiet old (2007), but I recently revised it and today I feel like posting it. To clear the topic a bit, its about friendships.
On my harddrive it was named 'people'. This title merely servered the function of making the topic transparently, but it just sounds so unappealing that I altered it.
